This book was written to give people who have never taken a cruise an idea of what it is like to take one. It is based upon a journal I kept during a cruise we took on the STAR PRINCESS from January 3-13, 2015. It also includes speculations I made in my journal about the nature of cruising and the motivations and psyches of people who take cruises--especially people who take fifty or a hundred cruises.
